Scientific Advisory Board
Dr. Rachel Nazarian, MD, FAAD
Dr. Nazarian is a board-certified award-winning dermatologist at Schweiger Dermatology in New York City. She practices various aspects of dermatology, including cosmetic treatments, skin cancer, general dermatology and dermatologic surgery. Dr. Nazarian serves as a faculty member at Mount Sinai Medical Center’s Department of Dermatology and is a board- certified dermatologist and Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology.
Dr. Josie Howard, MD
Dr. Howard is an award-winning doctor specializing in general adult psychiatry, psychopharmacology and psychodermatology focusing on the emotional burden of skin conditions. She has authored numerous articles, served on a volunteer clinical faculty at UCSF and has spoken at medical and industry conferences on the interplay of skin health and emotional health.
Dr. Matthew Meckfessel, PhD
Dr. Meckfessel has a proven track record in the pharmaceutical industry in a variety of therapeutic areas including consumer care, over-the-counter (OTC) drugs, aesthetic medicine, botulinum toxins, and prescription medications. He is a biochemist by training with extensive experience across the dermatology field, from skin diseases to cosmetic dermatology. Dr. Meckfessel has authored numerous articles on a variety of dermatological disease state areas including acne, rosacea, psoriasis, melasma, aesthetics, and OTC.
